a full-time freelance translator/interpreter (English/Czech), mostly automotive industry (advertising, marketing, trainings, e-learning, brochures, press releases etc.), household appliances and power tools, musical instruments, tourism; CAT – Trados, Translation Workspace, and MemoQ (MemoQ only licensed for particular projects)

 

September – April 2015:

employed full-time as a Buyer with AC Technologies, s.r.o. (air pollution control) + part-time freelance translation

 

March 2015 –March 2010:

employed full-time as a Direct material buyer with APS, Světlá nad Sázavou a.s. (processing of steel coils and strips, non ferrous metals or e.g. plastic parts for automotive and light machinery customers, job-related translation and interpreting) + part-time freelance translation since January 2015

 

2009 – January 2008:

external cooperation with AudioMaster s r.o. and Praha Music Center s r.o. as a translator (musical instruments and audio equipment user guides), also light machinery oriented translation (for APS, Světlá nad Sázavou a.s.) and a short-term project of a travel guide

 

June 2008 – October 2007:

part-time English teaching in ČSOB Pardubice (employer: Jazykové Studio Ulrych, Olomouc); Short term interpreting for APS, Světlá nad Sázavou a.s. (light engineering – stamping, degreasing)

 

2006: (June – January):

employed as an English language teacher at The Heřmanova Language School, Jihlava – full-time
